1. Service Agreement & Fixed Written Quotes
These terms govern the roofing repairs, full roof replacements, flat roofing, roofline installation and building services provided by DB Building & Roofing ("we", "us"). Before work begins, we provide a fixed written quote detailing the scope of work and price. Once agreed, that price is fixed and does not change unless you request a documented change in writing.
2. Pricing & Payment Terms
No deposit is required on standard repairs, and you pay nothing until the work is completed and you have inspected it. For full re-roofs and large projects involving scaffolding and materials, a staged payment schedule is agreed in writing prior to work commencing. We never ask for cash in advance.
3. Workmanship Guarantee
Every installation carries a written workmanship guarantee covering our labour. If any defect arises due to our fitting or workmanship, we will inspect and rectify it at no charge. The guarantee is transferable to new owners should you sell the property.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule a booked survey or installation by giving notice by phone or email. In cases of severe adverse weather (high winds, heavy rain, or freezing conditions), we may safely reschedule works for operative safety and property protection.
5. Public Liability & Insurance
We maintain comprehensive public liability and employer's liability insurance on all worksites. Insurance certificates can be provided upon request prior to start.
6. Dispute Resolution
We pride ourselves on customer recommendations and positive reviews. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact David directly so we can inspect and resolve the issue immediately.
7. Governing Law
These terms and all contracts are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
