Roofing and Building Services in Newton Aycliffe

Give garage and extension roofs a proper assessment

The top surface is only one part of a flat roof. The condition of the supporting deck, the way water drains and the junction with the house all affect the work required.

If the roof has leaked before, let us know where repairs were made. If water remains after rain, explain where it collects and how long it tends to stay.

Our flat roofing service covers rubber and mineral felt options. The proposed solution should suit the roof's condition and layout, rather than being chosen on appearance alone.

Pitched roof repairs and replacement work

Missing tiles are easy to spot, but other defects can be less obvious from ground level. Damp in the loft or repeated leaks may call for a closer inspection of the covering, roof junctions and underlying materials.

We provide roof repairs where a specific problem can be addressed. For roofs with more extensive deterioration, we can explain the work involved in a roof replacement.

You should be able to understand why a particular option has been proposed before accepting the quote.

Check the roofline while planning the work

Guttering, fascias and soffits should be considered alongside the roof edge. A new roof covering will not solve water spilling from a damaged gutter joint.

If access equipment is needed, ask whether other identified roofline defects can be included in the same planned work. Our fascias, soffits and guttering service explains the components we work on.
